Kasun Karunaratne has donated his prize-winning air rifle to the Dharmasoka College.
Kasun Karunaratne, a Junior national Rifle Shooting Champion, has donated his prize-winning air rifle to the Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda.
The rifle club of Dharmasoka College had been initiated by Kasun who won the coveted junior championship in 2009 and 2011.
As his prize, he was awarded a WALTER HAMERLY AR 10 Air Rifle which he donated to the Dharmasoka Rifle Team during a recent visit to Sri Lanka. A former student of Royal College, Colombo, Kasun is currently in Melbourne Australia.
He is the only son of retired Major General Sanath Karunaratne(Former V.P. of DCPPA Col Br) and Mrs. Enoka Karunaratne.
